American Express Global Business Travel GBT has announced that it has added more than two million properties to its online accommodation programme.
GBT has been able to make this considerable boost to its inventory through the company’s relationship with online reservations powerhouse Booking.com.
By using their online booking tool (OBT), GBT users can now select from a wide range of overnight stay options, including major chain hotels, independent hotels, non-traditional lodging and extended stay options. The expansion will also give clients access to special Booking.com Genius rates, available globally, offering savings of at least 10% on every booking.
“A vast range of properties and property types, all bookable through OBTs”
With the expansion of the accommodation programme, customers are to also access special discounts at thousands of properties across the globe, Booking.com Genius rates, as well as offer savings of at least 10% on every booking.
Wesley Bergstrom, GBT’s vice president of global supplier relations, said: “We are determined to give clients and travellers access to the widest range of accommodation choices, with a vast range of properties and property types, all bookable through OBTs. Travellers have no reason to search for accommodation anywhere else: they can find everything they want in one place, and confirm their accommodation and transportation in a single booking. It means more choice and convenience for the traveller; more value and improved compliance for the client.”
