CEO of AirAsia Hong Kong and Macau, Celia Lao Sio Wun said: “We are pleased to introduce the new Macao-Johor Bahru route to further boost the tourism into Macao from Malaysia, and with the convenient cross-border bus service from Johor Bahru-Singapore, we are able to target guests from Singapore as well to visit Macao via Johor Bahru.

“Furthermore, to reiterate what our Group CEO, Tony Fernandes said at the recent PATA Youth Symposium here, Macau is an attractive destination, with its strategic location in the West Bank of Pearl River Delta (PRD) and the improved transportation links with the cities in Pearl River Delta, we hope to attract guests from PRD to use Macau as a gateway.

“We are always looking for the opportunity to provide better connectivity for our guests and we believe this route is set to be another popular gateway not just for business travellers and investors from Macao and PRD but families as well.”
