Air Transat expands UK sales team

Air Transat has announced the expansion of its UK sales with the appointment of two sales managers and a team member dedicated to travel trade sales support.
Malcolm Aldcroft joins the company as sales manager for Southern England focusing on the London market. This follows 27 years in the airline industry, including more than 20 years at British Airways, with roles based in the UK and Canada.
Gail Kerr joins as sales manager for Northern England, Scotland and Ireland. Kerr has more than 28 years of expertise in sales and account management in the travel industry including time at Air France KLM and Turkish Airlines to Air Transat.
Each will be responsible for day-to-day relationship management of existing and prospective travel trade partners, as well as identifying and pursuing B2B revenue growth opportunities for the airline.
Tony McSorley has been appointed to the role of travel trade sales support for UK and Ireland. He joins following 28 years in account management and team leadership roles with travel consolidators and corporate agencies such as Airsavers, Travelport GDS and Corporate Travel Management. McSorley will provide day-to-day support to the travel trade, while also managing the new Air Transat Groups sales department.

Air Transat offers services from London, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin to destinations across Canada.
