The signing bolsters Aimbridge EMEA’s presence in the Netherlands and cements a partnership of over 10 years with Borealis Hotel Group. Borealis Hotel Group (BHG) is proud to announce that it will soon open its 25th hotel.
Associated with this, Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA (Aimbridge) has signed a management agreement with Borealis Hotel Group to operate the new Holiday Inn Eindhoven Airport hotel in the Netherlands.The hotel is the latest to join Aimbridge EMEA’s growing portfolio, marking its sixth managed property in the Netherlands and cementing a relationship of over ten years between BHG and Aimbridge.
The property – located at Eindhoven Airport – houses 180 guest rooms, an all-day restaurant, a bar, 75sqm of meeting space across three rooms and a fully-equipped gym. David Anderson, Aimbridge EMEA Divisional President, said: “This new agreement bolsters our already strong working relationship with Borealis Hotel Group, and we’re excited to welcome the Holiday Inn Eindhoven Airport Hotel to our portfolio.
“The Netherlands is a region of strong potential growth for us. The hotel asserts our growth strategy further, after the recent openings of our Motto by Hilton hotel in Rotterdam and our ibis Styles in Copenhagen Ørestad. We’re confident this new hotel at Eindhoven Airport will prove popular with both business and leisure customers.” Eindhoven Airport (EIN) is situated around 10km from the city centre and is accessible by road and public transport. The airport handles more than six million passengers per year, with a flight terminal expansion project expected to get underway in late 2023.
David, added: “The Holiday Inn Eindhoven Airport Hotel boasts a great location, close to the airport terminal and within easy reach of Eindhoven city centre, as well as the nearby Eindhoven Business Park and the Brainport Industries Campus.” The signing comes just weeks after Aimbridge EMEA announced the expansion of its development team in the Iberian Peninsula, affirming its plans for growth across Europe.
