In a bid to promote Arizona in the post-pandemic times, Arizona Office of Tourism (AOT) has launched a series of new UK agent training webinars. The tourism board is hosting four webinars, scheduled to take place every other Tuesday, providing an overview of the ‘Grand Canyon State’ before delving into more specific popular holiday themes including adventure, road trips and the dark skies.
The first of the series, ‘An introduction to Arizona’, took place on 26 May. The webinars will complement the new agent training programme, ‘Arizona A To Z’, which was launched last month. The free online tool requires agents to register before being guided through five modules showcasing the major attractions and experiences across the state including culinary, wellness, adventure and culture, with the aim of aiding agents when selling to a wide range of travellers.
The training also shares fun facts, travel information on the five regions within the state and suggested itineraries, with agents securing a certificate upon completion.
