Acacia Africa is discounting selected dates on 45 of its camping overland tours by 15%, if booked before 31 August.
A Big 7 safari has a saving of £132pp with the 15% reduction. The 19-day Kruger to Cape Town makes stops in the Kruger National Park and Hermanus – opportunities to view the Big 5 and the Southern Right whale (one of the Big 7).
Arno Delport, sales & marketing manager at Acacia Africa, said: “The seaside town of Hermanus has its own whale crier – complete with whale-tail feather in his cap and a distinctive kelp horn – so sightings of these magnificent creatures are almost guaranteed.”
Hermanus claims to have the world’s greatest land-based whale- watching, and clients are also able to book optional whale viewing boat tours on arrival from £753pp (no single supplement) plus an Adventure Pass from £150pp including transport, camping accommodation, most meals and services of a tour leader/driver.
