A Creba Private Island unveiled off the coast of north-west Spain
Amid the lush green forests, pristine waters and white sand beaches of unspoilt Galicia in north-west Spain, you’ll now find the ultimate hideaway, A Creba Private Island. Situated in the stunning region of Galicia, not far from the city of Santiago de Compostela, A Creba offers up to 10 guests outstanding hospitality and the very essence of exclusivity, serenity and natural beauty.
A Creba, which has been purchased, preserved and protected by a local Spanish family, offers the ideal sanctuary for those wanting a private, wellness retreat in one of the destinations with the best air quality in Europe.
Whether you want to feel the Atlantic breeze or laze in the swimming pool, enjoy yoga or spa treatments in the gardens, handpick fresh organic fruit from the orchards, seek out extreme sports in the crystal-clear waters or even host your own party for family or friends, A Creba is very much your own boutique island. Everything is bespoke here – from your own choices at breakfast, lunch or dinner – to how each day is spent on or off the island.
A Creba is easily accessible, with frequent commercial or private jet flights into Santiago de Compostela, and then it is a mere 15 minutes transfer by helicopter, or 50 minutes by car and boat. The island features five double suites, four of which have ocean views, and all with modern, ensuite bathrooms.
Inspired by the adventures of Atlantic seafarers, A Creba’s furnishings and décor were supervised by the interior designer of the Spanish Royal Family, ensuring that every detail was accurate. All of the stoneworks in the house were sourced from the same rocks making up the base of the island, and meticulously sculpted by local craftsmen.
The main living room in the house is the idyllic setting for any gathering while overlooking the immensity of the Atlantic Ocean and the backdrop of the majestic Monte Louro. Particularly stunning during golden hour, this space will make you feel at home – away from home.
Ana Perez Izquierdo, Sales & Marketing Director for A Creba Private Island, says: “From the first moment you set foot on A Creba peacefulness and tranquillity take over. We offer a one-of-a-kind sensory journey which will leave you reinvigorated and reconnected.”
From dawn to dusk, Galician gastronomy is at the heart of life on A Creba, ensuring guests experience some of the freshest food in the world, sourced on the island and just off it. The chef, Fernando Rios, is featured in the Michelin Guide and defines himself as a lover of the region’s products.
A Creba enables you to distance yourself from daily worries and refocus and rebalance your mind and body. Guests can use the well-equipped fitness centre or do lengths in the swimming pool overlooking the Atlantic; or take part in specialised yoga and wellness therapies across the island.
Sustainability is also embedded into daily life at A Creba. The island is self-sufficient, sourcing its electricity from solar, biomass and wind power.
Paul Charles, CEO of The PC Agency, adds: “A Creba Private Island is a jewel in the Atlantic Ocean and yet so easily accessible, off the coast of Galicia. From multi-generational family celebrations to an intimate reunion of old friends, or a remote meeting place for CEOs and Board teams, A Creba offers seclusion and privacy combined with service excellence and the finest hospitality.”
