Cambodia reports 6.7 million foreign arrivals in 2024
The country aims to surpass that and hit seven million for 2025
Cambodia attracted 6.7 million foreign tourists in 2024, surpassing its closest rival the Philippines.
The country’s tourist arrivals total showed a 23 percent year-on-year increase, surpassing the Philippines which recorded 5.4 million arrivals in 2024, short of its 7.7 million target.
Secretary of state Hun Dany credited the milestone to effective tourism promotion policies, enhanced tourism products, and improved hospitality and services.
The country’s top visitor sources included Thailand, Vietnam, China, Laos, and the United States.
This year, Cambodia aims to attract 7 million international tourists.
To meet this target, the Cambodian government plans to simplify e-visa application procedures and reduce e-visa fees.
