Sofitel Melbourne On Collins hosted an exclusive VIP event for their high-valued guests and partners prior to the world’s fifth-ranked tennis player’s appearance at the Australian Open, as Zheng recently progressed to Round Two and is one to watch this year.

The interview covered how Zheng felt about being back in Melbourne, her experiences staying in hotels, her gold medal finish at the Paris Olympics, and her preparations for the Australian Open 2025. 

One of the sport’s most exciting young talents, Zheng made history by securing China’s first-ever gold medal in tennis. 

She also has a passion for fashion, style, and beauty being the first athlete to grace the cover of Vogue China; it has also been announced that she is now the global ambassador for French fashion house Dior.
