Dnata B2B brands’ enhancements will be a game changer this peaks
The dnata Travel Group UK B2B brands Gold Medal, Pure Luxury, Cruise Plus and Incredible Journeys have confirmed that the enhancements they made throughout 2024 will benefit agents this upcoming peaks.
With upgrades to the Gold Medal website including Curated Offers and live chat; recruitment into their contact centre teams; and the expansion of their product portfolios across land, air and sea – the brands are entering the busy peaks period well and truly prepared to support agents.
The Trade Partnerships team have been on the road training with agent partners throughout 2024, providing both in person and virtual training through events, webinars, coffee mornings, increased educational trips and more. As agents buckle up ready for increased January enquiries, the trade partnerships managers will be continuing their visits to stores, delivering tailored care packages to help ease the workload and offer support where it is required.
Earlier this year, Pure Luxury introduced Blacklane transfers into their proposition, alongside their complimentary airport lounge passes to offer luxury clients more comfort than ever before. Incredible Journeys introduced more touring partners to their portfolio to expand the trips that agents can book through the brand, as well as publishing their first main title brochure in August – Big Book of Incredible Journeys. Their cruising brand, Cruise Plus, developed their luxury cruise offering, with the introduction of Luxury by Cruise Plus which provided a dedicated focus on this expanding sector. Plus, for the first time ever, hosted a two-day cruise focused training event at their HQ, inviting over 20 partners.
Last peaks, the Gold Medal contact centre reported taking more calls than ever before, with a 22% growth in calls throughout January 2024 compared to January 2023. The brand handled the increase, delivering the highest levels of service and Simon Applebaum, Managing Director, believes this peaks could see even greater volumes.
Simon Applebaum shared, “Everything our brands have introduced across the last 12 months means we are set up better than ever before to support our agents through what we hope will be a bumper peaks 2025 and – ultimately – to help our agents secure bookings. We have strengthened existing relationships with both our agent partners and supplier partners, as well as introducing new ones. We have further recruited into our contact centre and provided extensive training to give our agents the best possible experience when they ring our experts, and access to our breadth of product.”
Applebaum continued, “We are excited by the enhancements to our web offering and we know from their feedback that agents are too. Curated Offers was introduced so agents have access to more offers – including regional ones, plus increased marketing collateral for their windows and social pages. When they are receiving increased requests in the new year, this will be a game changer for them.”
Gold Medal and its sister brands have four brand new campaigns, complete with five inspirational books and over 200 offers combined to share with agents from 02 January 2025. Gold Medal, Pure Luxury, Cruise Plus and Incredible Journeys are again bringing agents all the marketing tools and support they need to conquer the peak booking period and book dream holidays for their clients.
