The Travel Corporation wins Tour Operator of the Year – Singapore at TDM Travel Trade Excellence Awards 2024 – Asia
The company offers travellers the modern-day group tour version of flying business class.
With travellers looking for rich and meaningful experiences with elevated services and comfort, The Travel Corporation’s Insight Vacations has rebranded its Business Class Tours to meet the needs of those who prefer to travel in smaller groups with more experiential experiences.
For this rebranding, The Travel Corporation was named the Tour Operator of the Year – Singapore at the TDM Travel Trade Excellence Awards 2024 – Asia.
Beyond the sights and insights of target destinations, Insight Vacations offers an elevated “business class” travel experience at premium 5 and 4-star hotels and a customised coach with “business class” legroom.
Travellers can skip lines for after-hour access to iconic sights like the temples of Egypt or the Basilica of Saint Praxedes. They can also enjoy superior dining at highly rated restaurants and personal 24/7 service from Insight Vacations’ Travel Director, who takes care of every aspect of their tour.
Insight Vacations has significantly increased its small group tour offering for 2025 after its stellar performance in 2024. Now with over 400 small group departures, travellers can travel with an average of just 20 guests.
“All Small Group itineraries boast the same premium inclusions and experiences that are at the core of the Insight Vacations difference. Guests can be assured of an elevated premium experience across every aspect of their vacation,” said -Mae Cheah, Managing Director, Asia, The Travel Corporation.
Insight Vacations has also reintroduced its Women’s Only Tours for 2025. For these tours, itineraries and all departures are exclusively small groups – best suited for solo or older travellers who prefer the additional security or companionship of travelling with fellow females.
“These vacations, crafted for women by women, give like-minded female travellers access to celebrate women’s businesses and achievements across countries and cultures,” Cheah added.
In addition to elevated, premium tour experiences, Insight Vacations includes at least one MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experience. These are conscious travel experiences crafted to advance at least one or more of the United Nations’ (UN) Sustainable Development goals.
One example of the MAKE TRAVEL MATTER Experience® is a visit to the Cristina Heeren Foundation in Seville, where they promote the teaching and conservation of flamenco. Travellers are given the opportunity to meet students of the foundation, learn some flamenco steps, and put on performances.
Another example is the We Exist initiative during the dine-around evening on the country roads of Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands trip. We Exist is an initiative supporting Syrian immigrants, directly addressing UN SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities.
“Insight Vacations has shown that with this rebrand, we have not only addressed the needs of our target segment but also created a product that has a positive impact on the travel industry,” Cheah said.
