AirAsia introduces Manila-Nagoya flights in October
The new route flies thrice weekly beginning 29 October
AirAsia Philippines announced the expansion of its network in Japan via a new Manila to Nagoya route which takes off beginning 29 October.
Airline chief executive Ricky Isla remarked that this is a significant move, given how Japan is one of their strongest regional markets.
Indeed, AirAsia pointed out a recent Statista survey showing that Japan is the preferred holiday destination of up to 48 percent of Filipinos surveyed.
The launch is slated for October in time for the autumn so that travelers could enjoy the cool yet sunny weather.
Once launched, AirAsia will fly the route every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday between Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport and Chubu International Airport in Nagoya.
