Greater Bay Airlines launches GBA Air Link
The service is a codeshare agreement with the Chu Kong Passenger Transport Company
Greater Bay Airlines (GBA) launched the GBA Air Link sea-to-air service under a codeshare agreement with Chu Kong Passenger Transport Company Limited (CKS).
GBA Air Link provides a seamless connection to passengers who travel from any one of the six major ports in the Greater Bay Area (Dongguan Humen, Guangzhou Nansha, Guangzhou Pazhou, Shenzhen Fuyong, Shenzhen Shekou, and Zhongshan) to transit at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA).
With this, passengers can now book just one ticket for both the high-speed ferry and air journeys through designated travel agents in Mainland China or GBA’s Customer Service Centre.
Saving time and money
GBA Air Link provides a time-saving and cost-effective option to passengers who are able to enjoy one-stop convenience by completing the immigration and check-in procedures at the departing port in advance before they travel by high-speed ferry to HKIA’s SkyPier and proceed to the designated boarding gates for their flights.
The same baggage allowance for the GBA flight also applies to the ferry journey and the baggage will be transferred directly from the departing port to the destination airport.
Apart from the shorter travelling time, passengers will also benefit from their exemption from paying the Air Passenger Departure Tax in Hong Kong.
