The Royal Caribbean International ship Rhapsody of the Seas, which has delighted travellers all over the world, is returning to Latin America in two weeks! The vessel arrives in Panama on 2 December to provide seven-night journeys with a broad range of entertainment options, bars, restaurants, and events for all ages, as well as relaxation spaces – all in one place – for travellers who want to cruise the Caribbean. Guests can visit Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao from Colon, Panama, and Cartagena, Colombia. Tours are now available to book on the Royal Caribbean website.
“We are happy to return to Latin America this year, where we will remain until April 2024, with an adventure that allows our guests to enjoy a fantastic vacation without the need to travel to the United States or obtain a VISA,” said Alberto Muoz, associate vice president of Latin America and the Caribbean at Royal Caribbean International. “We have adapted our service offering to the preferences and needs of the Latino market, from more Spanish-speaking crew, more options for dancing, and extended hours at Adventure Ocean, the children’s space, during the night.”
Rhapsody features Royal Caribbean’s signature experiences and spaces, including the Centrum, the centre of the party; an excellent atmosphere in outdoor pools as well as its Solarium (for adults only), which includes an indoor pool; and entertainment including live music, Latin dance classes, high-end productions at the Royal Theatre, and more.
Chops Grille, which specialises in meat cuts; Izumi, offering Asian cuisine; and Giovanni’s Table, which offers Italian dishes, will be ready to delight any palate. Classics such as the main dining room and Windjammer, which are included with the reservation, will offer extended hours and regional culinary options. There are dozens of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink options available in bars, such as Schooner Bar, which is debuting a new drink menu.
Shore excursions and Private Journeys will be available to discover every destination from December 2023 through April 2024, as with all of the cruise line’s vacation options. This schedule will also include some themed outings. One is centred on meeting new people under the Singles and Friends idea, which will take place on the inaugural passage from Colón on 2 December.
The arrival of Rhapsody reinforces the upward trend of cruises to Panama and Colombia, where vacationer arrivals reached 557.1% and 346%, respectively, in the most recent season.
