Senior Travel Claims Handlers – Required for this global insurance company based in Birmingham. They are looking for 3 experienced travel insurance claims handlers and will pay up to £35,000 plus bonus, £1500 & great benefits for this Monday to Friday position.

Senior Travel Claims Handlers Responsibilities

• Handle first notification of calls, enter all relevant claims information and dispatch claims forms as appropriate
• Manage & respond to department email enquiries
• Communicate with customers and third parties by telephone/email/letter in a clear, concise and professional way
• Assess new claims (Travel/Missed Event/Collision Damage Waiver excess) in accordance with policy terms and conditions, within specified service levels and in line with departmental procedures
• Handle any necessary administrative duties relating to claims, e.g. completion of worksheets
• Ensure that all relevant data is collated and entered onto the system in a timely manner, with a focus on accurate data entry and regular data cleansing
• Handle customer escalations in a positive way and refer any unresolved quality issues to your line manager

Senior Travel Claims Handlers Skills Required

• You must have insurance claims experience, ideally within travel
• Providing quality customer service within a pressurised office environment
• You will have a genuine desire to provide a high level of customer service
• You must be able to effectively manage multiple cases
• You will have a high attention to detail and quality focus
• Proven ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work under strict timescales/under pressure
• Excellent telephone manner
• Able to work in their office in Birmingham
