Darwin Harbour Cruises, operated by Journey Beyond, has launched two new cruising experiences in time for high season. Starting on 18 April 2023 and running until 11 June 2023, the Tumlaren schooner vessel will host the Tumlaren Sunset and Tumlaren Brunch ‘n’ Bubbles cruises. The Tumlaren is a 20-metre beautifully restored open-air vessel, with a combination of seated and standing room. Guests are closer to the water with plenty of space to relax under the shaded deck, offering guests a new way to experience the sights of Darwin Harbour in an intimate setting.
Tumlaren Sunset Cruise is an all-inclusive sunset cruise, available 7 days a week, departing daily at 6.00pm and returning at 8.00pm. A maximum of 34 guests will be welcomed aboard Tumlaren for an intimate sundowner cruise experience, including:
- A two-hour sunset cruise
- An individual seafood and antipasto platter (vegan and vegetarian options available on request)
- All-inclusive beverage package with a selection of beer, wine, bubbles, and non-alcoholic drinks
Priced at $130 per person
Tumlaren Brunch N Bubbles is a two-hour brunch cruise on the Tumlaren, departing daily from Tuesday to Saturday, sailing at 10.15am and returning at 12.15pm. Darwin Harbour Cruises is the only operator offering a brunch cruise, giving guests the opportunity to enjoy daytime views of the harbour under blue Darwin skies. Brunch ‘n’ Bubbles includes:
- A two-hour brunch cruise
- A gourmet grazing table, featuring Top End ingredients
- All-inclusive beverage package with a selection of beer, wine, bubbles, soft drink and fruit juices
Priced at $109 per person
“We are excited to offer our guests this special experience on board Tumlaren,” says Cesar Piotto, General Manager of Attractions and Dining at Journey Beyond. “Tumlaren is an intimate cruising vessel, which features a more personalised, small-group experience for guests. Whether morning or evening, the views of Darwin Harbour from the water are spectacular. We look forward to sharing the beauty of the harbour with those who join us on these sailings.”
