Business Development Manager – Corporate Travel – Home / Field Based – c£45k + car allowance + bonus. An excellent opportunity to join a well-established and reputable Travel Management Company, where you will be home/field based (ideally in the South East), responsible for targeting new business in the charitable, not for profit and public sectors.
Business Development Manager Responsibilities
- Work through self-generated leads and assigned targets accounts through cold-calling and prospecting to generate new business.
- Respond to RFP’s and manage new tenders / bids with the bid team.
- Prepare and deliver client presentations and and web demonstrations to potential clients.
- Monitor competitor activity and maintain CRM information
- Prepare sales reports including pipeline and forecasts
Business Development Manager Skills Required
- Previous experience in B2B sales within a corporate travel management business or experience selling a service in to the public and not for profit sectors.
- Experience of managing large tenders and bid processes
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- IT competency and confidence working in a technology driven environment
- Flexibility to travel and visit clients around the UK (which are more heavily weighted in the south east of England)
Business Development Manager Additional Details
- A basic salary up to circa £45,000
- Car allowance, bonus OTE of £20,000

- 24.5 days holiday, rising to 25.5 days plus option to buy and sell additional leave
- The role can be fully remote with anticipate travel to visit potential clients 2-3 days a week
