As part of Oceania Cruises’ OceaniaNEXT project, the Regatta underwent a “re-inspiration” and returned to Australia last Friday.
The Regatta, which can hold 656 passengers, has arrived in Darwin and will now head north to Asia. Later this month, the Regatta will sail back home, making stops in Kangaroo Island, Burnie, and Melbourne along the coast of Western Australia.
On 12 December, the ship will dock in Sydney for a busy summer season with seven itineraries with multiple ports of call. Since the pandemic, this is the first time an Oceania vessel has visited Australia.
Regatta’s luxury yacht will spend the summer season in Australian waters. Her guests can enjoy the vessel’s newly renovated suites and staterooms, updated common areas, posh home furnishings and art collection.
The return of the luxury small ship Regatta to Sydney Harbour will be a cause for celebration, according to Senior Vice President and Managing Director Asia Pacific Steve Odell.
A breathtaking 35-day journey called “The Aussie Adventure,” which departs Sydney on 12 December and traverses the whole coast of the country round trip, is one of the highlights of Regatta’s local season.
The Aussie Adventure is also available as a 14-day trip from Sydney to Bali on the 12th (travelling via Australia’s Eastern States) and a 21-day trip back to Sydney (travelling along Western Australia’s coastline areas) beginning on Boxing Day.
