PR Manager – Uxbridge – Global Travel Brand – £50-60K. A fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, highly successful and growing travel business where you will be responsible for leading the UK & Ireland consumer and trade media relations. There is great scope to progress within the organisation and travel the world hosting press trips in exotic locations.

PR Manager Responsibilities

You will be reporting directly to the Managing Director, leading a small team and PR agency whilst working in collaboration with global PR and Communications colleagues in different markets. You will be responsible for translating business goals into communication strategies, driving consumer and trade brand awareness, nurturing relationships with journalists, adapting global press-releases whilst creating market specific ones. You will plan and deliver regular press trips, create locally relevant media assets such as photos and videos, work with head office on any crisis situations or issues and monitor results to share with the wider business.

PR Manager Skills Required

• Significant PR and Media Relations experience either in-house or agency, preferably gained in the travel industry but other sector experience from global brands will also be considered
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation and communication skills
• A track record of building brand differentiation for high profile brands
• Degree educated
• Native level English
• Flexibility to travel globally in order to host press trips
• An autonomous self-starter with great initiative

PR Manager Additional Information

A salary in the region of £50,000 – £60,000 per annum depending on experience, private healthcare, life assurance, travel discounts, 22 days holiday + bank holidays.

Please note this is an office based role in the Uxbridge area (with perhaps the option of 1 day a week from home), also with travel around London to meet media contacts and fairly regular international travel to host press trips.
