It is well understood that American Express Centurion Lounge’s are a league above the rest. As such, it comes as no surprise that they are adding new features to one of their most-traveled locations.
As part of American Express’ growing Global Lounge Collection, today Amex is excited to announce its plans to expand The Centurion Lounge at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport in order to offer Platinum Card® Members access to even more space and amenities when they travel through DFW.
In order to do so, the DFW lounge will relocate to a new location opposite the existing space, neighboring Gate 17 on the mezzanine in Terminal D and just inside security. The new, expanded space is expected to open in the first half of 2018. In addition to all of the amenities currently offered in the existing lounge, the new DFW lounge will offer:
- Additional 3,000 square feet of space
- 3 shower suites
- Private telephone rooms
- Private mother’s room
The Centurion Lounge at DFW will continue to offer the features and amenities Card Members have come to know and love at the existing lounge location, including:
- Full premium bar with specialty cocktails developed by Centurion lounge mixologist Jim Meehan, and wines handpicked by Centurion Lounge wine director Anthony Giglio
- Fresh, locally-inspired cuisine designed by James Beard Award-winning chef Dean Fearing
- Complimentary spa therapies from Exhale
- Semi-private, and dedicated work area with high-speed Wi-Fi
- Member services desk
- Conference space
- Family room
- Computer bar
- Large flat-screen TVs
As always, these lounges are well worth a visit and if you have the good fortune of being a member, you should definitely stop in wherever and whenever you can.
