Thai Airways was voted 3rd place for Worlds Best Airline Cabin Crew and 4th place for Worlds Best Airport Services at the Skytrax 2021 World Airline Awards announcement recently held in London as reported by The Nation Thailand.
The awards recognise THAI’s world-class service and quality standards. Additionally, THAI received several others Skytrax global ranking recognition in the following categories: 5th in the Best Airline Personnel in Asia category, which highlights airline staff service across the airport and onboard experience; 6th in the World’s Best Economy Class; and 9th in the Best Economy Class Airline Catering category.
The achievement, particularly during this trying time of the Covid-19 pandemic, demonstrated a strong commitment and dedication on the part of THAI employees, who have been working tirelessly to provide all possible assistance in rendering their services while maintaining the highest possible level of service quality.
THAI is committed to providing the greatest level of safety and convenience in its flying services. All workers are always trying to improve in-flight services to provide a seamless journey and an enjoyable flying experience for all customers.
The World Airline Awards are the outcome of the Skytrax survey, which began in 1999 as the first global, annual airline customer satisfaction study that is completely independent, impartial, and global.
The poll was designed to elicit customer happiness, opinion, and experiences with airline products and services in all areas, including the check-in procedure, seat comfort, cabin interior, food and beverage service, cabin staff services, and in-flight services.
Skytrax performed this year’s customer survey from September 2019 to July 2021. Between 2020 and 2021, the airline sector was badly impacted by the Covid-19 epidemic. Travel demand has declined significantly as a result of countries’ lockdowns and tight travel restrictions. The 2021 Awards recognise travel during more regular times as well as travel during the global pandemic.
