Royal Caribbean to accept ‘payment by excitement’
Royal Caribbean is encouraging agents to give their clients a chance to win back the cost of their holiday with ‘payment via excitement’, where one lucky family will have the chance to win a free cruise holiday worth up to GBP 10,000 (USD 13,013.00).
To enter, families from the UK and Ireland are asked to share their kids’ excitement when told they are going on a Royal Caribbean holiday. Depending on their reactions, families who have booked a cruise can redeem the total cost as well as their flights and transfers – worth up to USD 13,013.00.
Parents need to film footage of their children’s reactions to their upcoming trip – and upload the video. The holiday company will also appoint the winning child or children the coveted title of the ‘SEA-E-O’ (chief excitement officer). They will keep hold of this title for 12 months and be able to report back to the company on levels of excitement that they found whilst onboard – from plummeting down the biggest waterslides at sea to hanging ten on the FlowRider surf simulator.
Ben Bouldin, vice president of sales in EMEA in Royal Caribbean said: “We’re looking forward to converting excitement into holiday currency by throwing in a complimentary family holiday and speciality meals on the house, based on the most brilliant responses.”
