Design hotel Levi to open in Finnish Lapland
Design Hotel Levi is opening its doors in the village of Levi in Finnish Lapland this winter. The GBP 10 million (USD 12.53 million) project will see the largest hotel project in the Arctic region open in December which will have a particular focus on Nordic art and design.
The hotel is being built adjacent to its sister hotel, Levi Hotel and Spa and will offer 77 rooms and suites which aim to combine Arctic nature into the design in a unique way.
The hotel will cater for couples, groups and families alike, those looking for luxury accommodation with a convenient central location for access to the Levi village and all its amenities as well as the area’s first-class ski slopes and year-round outdoors activities.
Sanna Leinonen, CEO of Levi Hotel Spa Resort said: ”We wanted to create something new and thrilling for the area. A hotel which really stands out from what the region already offers; in total contrast to the lodge style accommodation you traditionally find in this area.”
