This is achieved by developing and implementing marketing, media, trade, and partnership strategies working co-operatively with our offices around the world and the travel industry.

What will you be doing

Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines are key visitor markets to New Zealand and we need a passionate Senior Travel Trade Manager who can make a real mark leading the development and execution of our Trade Marketing strategy within the South East Asia Markets

Reporting to the Regional Manager South & South East Asia, you will lead Tourism New Zealand’s trade Marketing strategy for the Singapore, Malaysia and Philippine markets and manage the Market Development Manager who is based in Singapore. This role requires a strategic vision and the ability to collaborate at high levels with South East Asia travel sellers, airlines and New Zealand organisations.  A key part of the role will be developing strategies to increase the value of our trade and airline partnerships as well as leading and developing the trade marketing team.

What we need

We need someone with a relevant tertiary qualification, and experience managing a small, international team with classic and online marketing disciplines. You will bring proven international marketing experience with expertise in the travel industry preferred but not essential.

Along with your excellent English communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills, you will be someone who thrives working in a busy and challenging environment.
