Indonesian OTA RedDoorz, has announced today it regional expansion plans by unveiling 10 new cities in East Java where it will open in 2019 starting with Pasuruan and Jember.
Following the successful launch of offices in Banyuwangi and Probolinggo, and building on a growth strategy first implemented in 2016 with the opening of operations in Surabaya, Bandung, Jakarta, and Yogyakarta; RedDoorz has seen its number of room nights in the area multiply by more than six times year-on-year.
“5,000 rooms in East Java”
Mohit Gandas, country manager for Indonesia, RedDoorz said: “More than 77% of Indonesians travel domestically within the province of East Java, according to a JEJAK report. By the end of 2019, our expansion goals include achieving a total of 5,000 rooms in East Java.
We want our properties to provide our guests with the best quality stay experience – this includes the accessibility through our online platform. With our consistent approach to our growth in Indonesia, we are excited for the next step of our plans for East Java to materialise. We see this as a positive sign for us to fully expand to not just Surabaya but also around cities in East Java,” he added.
Adil Mubarak, vice president of operations, RedDoorz said: “When we started out in Indonesia, with our aim to approach one city at a time, we knew that growing the brand in each city has to be executed with precision and importance. Our level of service excellence has shown in the 65% repeat rate of consumers at RedDoorz.
To date, our footprint spans over 13,600 rooms across 30 cities in Indonesia. We will grow to 35 cities in Indonesia by April 2019. It is definitely reassuring for us at RedDoorz to continue doing what we do best – for not only the consumers but also for the property owners.”
“Standardisation in stay experience”
“The property regularly goes through Quality Check Points by RedDoorz which ensures that the guests are served with a consistent experience, each time during their stay at any of their property.
The stay experience has led to a continuous demand of business and helped a large majority of the properties in Surabaya to emerge as a brand to infuse trust and strengthen a strong base of loyal customers. RedDoorz works closely with its properties to offer – standardisation in stay experience, technology training for the hotel property staff and industry class skills training,” he added.
