Following the success of last year’s final event in Chiang Mai, Thailand Travel Mart Plus (TTM+) is heading south to the ever-popular Thai beach town of Pattaya for TTM+ ‘Amazing Gateway to the Greater Mekong Subregion’.
Thailand’s biggest travel event will be making its first Pattaya appearance at the Ocean Marina Yacht Club from 13 to 15 June 2018.
This year, it will be channelling a ’Summer Beach’ theme which will see organisers encourage eventers to shun the usual shirt and tie vibe found at industry dos, in exchange for ‘sea, sun and sand’ which translates as casual beachwear – well, they are in the right place after all.
The Thai travel trade show hosted by Tourism Authority of Thailand’s (TAT) will be held under the banner of ‘Million Shades of Romance’ promotion, which focuses the most luxurious and romantic locations with in the country.
The event will also hone in on the country’s rich culture and history, and will feature the natural beauty of Thailand’s extraordinary landscape and golden beaches – not to mention the nations impossibly good cuisine, large range of accommodation available and the breadth of its tourism infrastructure.
Yuthasak Supasorn (above), TAT governor, said: “We are delighted to bring TTM+ to the Ocean Marina Yacht Club for the first time. The event theme encourages participants to dress in resort attire for three days of business meetings and fun with travel colleagues.
We will also be serving the best of Thai gastronomy focusing on unique culinary traditions from Thailand’s eastern seaboard region.”
TAT expects 300 international buyers from over 60 countries to attend who will be joined by 300 Thai sellers. Preference will be given to buyers specialising in luxury, honeymoon, weddings and romantic holidays.
Pre and post tours will focus on Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat provinces and the neighbouring GMS country of Cambodia
