Singapore Cruise Centre and PT Nongsa Terminal Bahari sign marketing agreement

Singapore Cruise Centre Pte Ltd (SCC) and PT Nongsa Terminal Bahari (NTB) have entered into a marketing collaboration agreement to promote tourism in Batam and Riau Islands the two companies said in a statement.
“Under the agreement, SCC and NTB will jointly work on marketing and promotional activities to increase tourism in Nongsa and Batam,” the statement said.
This will be done through ensuring sustainable and continual growth in passenger traffic at NTB’s Nongsapura Ferry Terminal for overall benefit to Nongsa, Batam and the Riau Islands.
The two companies will collaborate to promote recent developments and ongoing projects in the area which present potential growth in ferry traffic at Nongsapura Ferry Terminal.
These will have aa ecertaain appeal to movie fans and techies.
These include: Infinite Studios – an animation and film studio which has hosted international film / TV productions, Nongsa Digital Park – a self-contained ecosystem for creative and digital industries supporting the digital and media industries in Singapore and Indonesia and The Scene – a movie-themed condotel which incorporates film production with hospitality offerings.
In addition, SCC will work with NTB to help the ferry terminal operator enhance safety, security and customer service at its terminal which could serve as a model for further cooperation with other ferry terminals in Riau Islands.
SCC is a cruise and ferry terminal operator engaged in the business of operating and managing cruise and ferry terminals and providing consultancy services related to its businesses. NTB is the ferry terminal operator at Nongsapura, Batam and is part of the Citramas Group’s hospitality/creative industry division, which owns and operates Turi Beach Resort, Nongsa Point Marina, Nongsa Village and Tamarin Golf Course.
