MSC Cruises will allow travellers to experience Japan’s “sakura” cherry blossom season next spring, with a special cruise.
Next May, MSC Splendida will set sail on a nine-night round-trip from Yokohama. The cruise ship will circumnavigate the main island of Honshu, calling at Fushiki-Toyama, Kanazawa and Maizuru.
It will also spend half a day at Busan in South Korea, before visiting Kagoshima on Kyushu Island and Kochi on Shikoku Island.
MSC Splendida has a capacity of 3,900 passengers and features four swimming pools, a spa, squash court, theatre and dozens of bars and restaurants.
The nine-night sakura cruise departs on 6 May 2018.
