Jet Airways has introduced a first class cabin on its daily flights between Delhi and Singapore.
The premium cabin is now available after the Indian carrier introduced its largest aircraft, the Boeing 777, on the route. The 777 comes equipped with 346 seats in three cabins, including eight first class suites, 30 flat-beds in business class and 308 seats in economy.
“Introduction of first class service on the Delhi-Singapore route will enable our guests to experience… a completely relaxed and an extremely comfortable flying experience. Guests get to experience our exceptional, award-winning product and our “Guest First” service philosophy, helping to deliver unmatched service excellence in the skies,” said Jayaraj Shanmugam, Jet’s chief commercial officer.
Passengers in Jet’s first class cabin will be offered a private suite with sliding doors, mood lighting and seat that reclines to form a fully-flat bed. Technology includes in-flight entertainment on a 23-inch flat screen monitor and Bose noise-cancelling headphones.
The outbound 777 flight, numbered 9W18, will depart Delhi at 0935 and arrive in Singapore at 1800. The return service, 9W17, then takes off from Changi Airport at 1940 and lands back in Delhi at 2300.
