A new hotel in Hua Hin is providing a significant boost to the Thai resort town’s MICE industry, by offering the area’s largest ballroom.
Ananda Hua Hin Resort Villas & Spa’s grand ballroom covers 900m² and can accommodate up to 700 delegates in a theatre configuration or 500 guests for a banquet. It can also be divided into five smaller meeting venues.
The space is backed up with the latest technology, including digital PA systems, high-speed Wi-Fi and adjustable sound and lighting.
The MICE facilities are housed in a separate building with a dedicated entrance and foyer that connects to the main lobby of the hotel. There is also an outside event lawn.
“Our range of resort, beach and town based activities are designed to challenge, motivate and inspire participants to break down barriers, communicate openly and collaborate effectively to achieve results,” said David Barrett, MICE consultant for the Ananda Hua Hin Resort & Spa.
“Customised corporate team-building activities include the ‘Resort Challenge’, which is a scavenger hunt around the grounds, and the ‘Bike A Build Donation’, where teams construct a bike and donate to underprivileged children.”
Ananda Hua Hin Resort & Spa, which opened in April 2017, also features 196 rooms, suites and pool villas, a restaurant, poolside cafe, bar and spa.
