Fresh from news of its multi-million restoration of its London Hyde Park property, the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group is rolling out another rejuvenation project – but this time it’s less costly and more personal, with the launch of Mindful Meetings by Mandarin Oriental.
Based around five key concepts – nourishment, movement, stillness, connections and well-being – the programme aims to boost the value of the average work or business pow-wow by stimulating attendees’ imagination, problem-solving and communication abilities.
Mindful Meetings will use a range of tactics to restore and rejuvenate participants to optimum levels, including healthy menus, guided group yoga sessions and mediation, digital wellness as well as by breaking up meetings with stretches and movement sessions. That’s not to mention team exercise groups and health workshops with health and fitness experts.
Emily Snyder, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group’s vice president of global sales, said: “Mandarin Oriental is renowned as a leader in global wellness, with more Forbes Five-Star Spas than any other hotel brand. By extending and utilizing this expertise in the meeting space, we can provide participants with a truly enhanced environment, that is conducive to success.”
Snyder went on to say “Our aim is to support meeting planners by providing a unique offering that will ensure all participants leave a Mindful Meeting feeling refreshed, motivated and ready to implement new ideas, information and connections.”
For MICE planners looking to get in on Mandarin Oriental’s celebration of the launch and snap up the Mindful Meetings Promotion, make sure to reserve any new event or group booking by 30 September 2018 to be eligible to choose from any of the following extras: energiser welcome shots upon arrival for all participants; 30-minute guided wellness including meditation and yoga; or a choice of Mindful in-room amenities.
