Amara Hotels & Resorts has announced the upcoming opening of Amara Signature Shanghai in the historical Changshou Road commercial zone. Following the successful launches of Amara Singapore (main picture), Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa and Amara Bangkok, the Shanghai outpost is the first under the new luxury brand, Amara Signature.
The group expect Amara Signature Shanghai to become a social destination for guests, with the hotel planning to host a series of events to facilitate interaction and collaborations among the business community.
Located at the intersection of the Changshou Road and Jiaozhou Road, the site is only a few minutes’ walk from metro lines 13 and 7, a quick 10-minute drive away from the prestigious and fashionable business and shopping district of Jing’an, a 30-minute drive from Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and 50-minute from Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
Amara Signature Shanghai comprises 343 classically styled rooms and suites between the 7th and 30th floors – ranging between 32 to 149 square-metres – with each room featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, comfortable bedding and modern bath furnishings. Each room is equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi and a 43”-55” flat-screen TV with satellite channels.
The 1,100 square-metres Grand Ballroom (above), along with ten multi-purpose function room, is equipped with state-of-the art facilities specially designed for events and conferences of all scales and 200 parking spaces available in the basement.
