To mark its 35 th anniversary, Parc Astérix, the Compagnie des Alpes group’s leisure destination, has set a new attendance record, with 2,842,000 visitors in 2024 (2,814,000 in 2023). It has consolidated its position as the second most visited theme park in France.
The 35th anniversary year featuring La Tour De Numérobis and the 1st ever Gaulish Musical
This exceptional year was marked by 2 major new attractions: La Tour de Numérobis, an attraction located in the Egyptian Zone, and the first ever Gaulish musical, C’est du Délire !
Parc Asterix, a true short breaks destination
Parc Astérix has confirmed its status as an ideal short-stay destination with a constantly improving accommodation offer.
3 hotels, Les Trois Hiboux, La Cité Suspendue and Les Quais de Lutèce, maintained an exceptional occupancy rate of over 90% during the summer, reflecting the Park’s growing appeal as a destination in its own right.
A bright future with Peur Sur Le Parc and Christmas In Gaul
The seasons of Peur sur le Parc ( from 5 October to 11 November) and Noël Gaulois ( from 21 December to 5 January) are also looking promising, with a host of new features.
“The continuing growth in our visitor numbers and the enthusiasm surrounding our new attractions are testament to the quality of our offer and our ability to renew ourselves,” says Delphine Pons, General Manager of Parc Astérix. “We remain committed to investing in exceptional experiences that will captivate our visitors year after year.”
A new attraction in 2025
The Parc Astérix’s Gaulish zone is expanding to include the garage of the Village’s famous blacksmith: Cetautomatix. The Gaulish character is embarking on a new activity, offering a brand-new range of never-before-seen chariots. Visitors will have the privilege of discovering and testing this range of ‘irreducible’ chariots in a world preview, subject to rigorous testing on a test track. With its steep inclines, tight bends and unpredictable acceleration, this new Cétautomatix family attraction is sure to delight young and old alike.
