Korean Air will resume flights between Seoul and St Petersburg this month.
From 26 April 2015, the airline will operate three weekly flights to Russia’s second largest city.
Services will depart Seoul’s Incheon International Airport every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 1755, arriving in St Petersburg at 2130. The return flight then departs at 2300 and arrives back in Seoul at 1340 the following day.
Korean Air will operate a 218-seat Airbus A330-200 aircraft on the route.
St Petersburg becomes Korean Air’s third destination in Russia, following Moscow and Vladivostok.
The airline is also a sponsor of St Petersburg’s famous Hermitage Museum, helping to develop Korean-language audio guides for visitors.
