A new Thai hotel company has been launched at the World Travel Market in London.
Manathai Hotels & Resorts will initially manage resort properties located in four Thai beach destinations – Khao Lak, Koh Samui, Hua Hin and Phuket.
The company says it will cater to “travellers who seek authentic experiences” in Thailand.
“One size no longer fits all for today’s travellers,” said Manathai’s group director of sales & marketing, Bobbie-Jane Skewes.
“People want to engage with destinations on their own terms and at their own pace. Manathai is a highly eclectic collection of hotels, each with its own style and personality, inspired by values of serenity, hospitality and friendship.”
Manathai Hua Hin is already operating, offering 40 rooms, while Manathai Koh Samui and Manathai Khao Lak and will relaunch on 15 December 2014 following refurbishments. Located on Lamai Beach, the Samui resort will feature 148 rooms and suites, while the Khao Lak property, just north of Phuket, offers 158 rooms.
Finally, the 68-room Manathai Surin Phuket will open in June 2015.
And all Manathai properties will feature the company’s branded restaurant concept, Phad Thai, plus a children’s club, Manathai Kids.
