Park Hotel Group is expanding its presence in Southeast Asia with the launch of hotels in two new markets – Thailand and Indonesia.
The Singapore-based company has penned management contracts for two resort properties, both of which are due to open next year. Park Hotel Khao Lak Beach Resort Phang Nga will start welcoming guests in the first half of 2015, while Park Hotel Nusa Dua Bali is scheduled to open in first quarter of next year.
“Park Hotel Khao Lak Beach Resort Phang Nga and Park Hotel Nusa Dua Bali are important milestones for both our brand and for the group,” said Allen Law, Park Hotel Group’s CEO.
“As our group’s first hotels in Thailand and Indonesia, both of which are influential and growing markets that we feel is of strategic importance. We’re very excited to be entering Phang Nga and Bali; the former being a rapidly developing tourist destination is a stone’s throw from the Phuket International Airport, while Bali remains one of Southeast Asia’s leading tourist destinations.”
Park Hotel Khao Lak will have direct access to Pakarang Beach and the Andaman Sea. Covering 2.3 hectares of land, the resort will feature 125 rooms, all with private balconies and sea views. There will also be two restaurants, a café, bar, lobby lounge, spa, fitness centre and business centre.
Park Hotel Nusa Dua meanwhile, will be located on hilltop site overlooking Tanjung Benoa. More details about the resort’s facilities will be announced at a later date.
