Jeddah fest prepares to welcome three million visitors

The ongoing 35th ‘Jeddah Ghair’ festival is expected to attract more than three million visitors from inside and outside the Kingdom. The event is slated to generate SAR three billion by the end of June.
The festival is being relaunched in a new style, with many entertainments and touristic events, in addition to high-quality performances. Jeddah’s hotels and furnished suites are fully booked, with more than 7,000 hotel rooms and 25,000 furnished apartments catering to thousands of visitors.
Jeddah Gov Prince Mishaal bin Majed, president of tourist development council and chairman of the higher committee for the festival’s organization, is following up on the festival’s activities. The festival has more than 150 events for touristic, social and cultural activities that aim to strengthen Jeddah’s presence on the domestic and international touristic map.
Mazen bin Mohammed, deputy chairman of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI), uncovered the existence of more than 200 participants and supporters.
