In a bid to enhance its connectivity to Turkey for the summer schedule, Gulf Air launched additional flights to Istanbul and Larnaca with seven weekly flights to both cities. This is in order to meet growing passenger numbers in light of the upcoming holiday season.
Gulf Air’s acting chief commercial officer, Ahmed Janahi said: “Istanbul and Larnaca are destinations of both year-long and seasonal popularity. We have consistently seen strong two-way traffic between these cities and Bahrain and the greater region. We believe our 2014 summer schedule will improve our passengers’ travel experience.”
Gulf Air flights to Istanbul Atatürk Airport and Larnaca International Airport are operated by an Airbus A320-ER aircraft in a two-class configuration. The aircraft features 14 gold class seats and 96 economy class seats.
