Bahrain signs Airport Modernisation Program

In a bid to its air transport in Bahrain, the Ministry of Transportation announced the signing of a key contract Aeroport de Paris Ingerierie (ADPi). The BD13 million agreement entails ADPi will serve as design and engineering consultant for the Airport Modernisation Program.
To keep pace with the aviation growth, the Ministry of Transportation and Bahrain Airport Company have developed a comprehensive development project, known as the ‘Airport Modernization Program’, to elevate Bahrain International Airport infrastructure and services.
When completed, it is expected to increase the airport’s capacity to 13.5 million passengers a year, as reported by Bahrain News Agency (BNA).
