Thai Airways International recently hosted an event in Bangkok aimed at driving more passenger traffic on its routes to India.
The national carrier’s executives welcomed travel agents, tour operators, Indian tourism authorities and members of the media to the Holiday Inn Bangkok hotel for the “Explore India with Us” event, which promoted travel to a series of Indian destinations.
The event was attended by executives including Korakot Chatasingha, THAI’s director of Thailand (fourth from left), and Praveen Kumar, a counsellor at the Indian Embassy in Thailand (third from left).
Currently, THAI operates flights to six destinations in India: Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkata, while Thai Smile flies to Jaipur, Lucknow, Bodh Gaya and Varanasi.
